In compliance with UK and European data protection regulations, this privacy policy explains what personal information we collect from you when you visit our website, engage us on social media or contact us. It also briefly summarised how we use any information we collect from you when you contact us or engage our services.
At New Dawn Creatives, we are committed to processing our customers personal information in ways that comply with its legal and regulatory obligations and are clear with customers about what we do with your personal information.
We regularly review our privacy policy for applicability and appropriateness therefore this policy may occasionally change.
2. How We Collect Data
Our customers may choose to engage with us via several platforms, such as our website or through social media.
When you contact us through our website, we may collect personal information which we receive when:
- you visit or use our website or,
- you engage our services,
- you contact us through our enquiry form
- you follow us, like, or subscribe to any of our social media pages
- you comment on our social media pages or direct message us through the imbedded messenger services
You may be required to supply payment information such as credit or debit card details when purchasing a product on our e-commerce site. This information is processed by a 3rd party clearing company. We will not collect or request any information from your social media profiles which we do not have a legal basis to collect, retain and use. However, we always encourage you to secure your social media accounts and ensure that no personally identifiable information is made available to the public for your own safety.
3. What Data Do We Collect?
We collect the following types of information when you engage any of our service:

- information required to provide you with a service, and details of our services that you have used
- Information required to complete a purchase transaction or deliver your purchase to you.

4. How We Use Your Data
We will not sell, trade or give away any data we collect from you to a third party without your permission. We do not use any data we collect for marketing purposes; however, we may contact you regarding new features or enhancements to the website and scheduled maintenance. Any emails you receive from us will include details on how you may opt-out of further emails.

5. How long we keep your data for
We will not keep or retain your data for longer than is necessary. Any delivery information will be retained for a maximum of 12 months. All billing information, including any information you supply to us via our e-commerce site will be retained for a period of 6 years.
6. Participating in our competitions
As we are a community based organisation, we may host a competition from time to time. This will give our customers a chance to engage with us at New Dawn Creative, on a more social and information manner.
If you choose to participate in our Competitions we ask you to provide the required information, as set out in the Competition Information Page on the website.
If you win a competition that includes the shipment of a prize, we will contact you to ask for a delivery address to deliver the prize. For competitions which require the submission of artworks – we may seek your permission to share your work on our social media and or in our next newsletter as well as tag or reference you by your social media handle, profile name or full name.
We process this information so that you are able to participate in our competitions and so that we can notify/announce you as winner online, in accordance with the terms of the competition agreed between us.
7. Our use of social media
Social media refers to a variety of online internet applications that enable users to create their own content and interact with other users. Examples of social media providers are Facebook, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter etc.
We are a user of LinkedIn and Instagram and may interact with other users by:
- Posting information on our current activities;
- Sharing our photos, videos and posts;
- sharing links to content in which has been produced by third-parties (such as sharing a news article);
- connecting you with our breaking news as it happens;
- connecting you to what people are saying, doing and thinking
- If you post on our social media pages or send us a private or direct message via social media, we will assume you give permission for us to respond.
Messages posted on our social media such as in the ‘comments section’ on our posts and pages are publicly available. We may use messages posted on our social media pages to better understand our audiences. If we seek to use attributable quotes from people using our social media pages, we will always seek their permission first.
We will respond to publicly available social media posts or direct messages from followers or those who have liked our page - relevant to our services/functions and/or associated issues where appropriate and within the permissions of the social media providers.
We do not interact with third-party applications. We do not micro target ie: track your browsing habits, likes and social interactions across our social media pages in order to build up a profile about you. We are not responsible for micro targeting by social media providers and third parties operating on social media.
